Views from the rental house

Alright, I'm almost done with these pics from the rental house. Check out ALL these STAIRS! I about had a heart attack when I arrived, 'cause I thought I would struggle getting up/down after the race. As it turned out, I was ok, but I never would've guessed that! These stairs start off the main deck and go all the way down to the lake/firepit/boat dock. Pretty amazing. Please note that Kim and I are the only ones (I think) who walked all the way down and back up these stairs - at which time, Bill was doing some sleuthing and discovered a workout room (under the deck). No need to use that on this trip!





Oh yes, and another note about the house - did I mention the spiders I spotted in my room? I killed 4 of them in the first 24 hours of my stay. If memory serves me correctly, I spotted 2 of them that first night prior to going to bed. I didn't want to make a big scene, so I tried to kill them quietly with my shoe. Then, when I woke up the next morning, I intended to go back to sleep until I spotted another (what I would consider "large") spider on the ceiling above my bed. Oh boy...I'm up. So, later that day, when we went to Target, top of my list was spider spray. I took these pics (of course they all look tiny when they're shriveled up and dead!) as proof that I really did kill these spiders - since SOMEONE didn't believe me!
