I neglected to mention that I made a 2nd trip to Lowes yesterday and purchased some adhesive remover. I mixed it and mopped it onto the floor and had to wait 2 hours for it to soak in. Though it was still a job scraping the backing/glue of that linoleum, it was WAY better than before I used the solution!
Since I wasn't able to finish all of it last night, I got up this morning and re-mopped the floor with the solution. I timed it so that I put that junk down and went to the Y to meet Bill for workout #2!
We did a cool bike route on these machines, ran on the track, did some lower body and core work. Again, the workout went really well and we had a good time. We'll be meeting again friday. We talked about maybe trying some of the classes they have - like core, pilates, yoga...it might be fun to mix it up while we can. Soon enough, it'll be all swim, bike, fun...I mean run!
I came home from workout #1 of the day, and started into workout #2 - finishing the floor. It had been 2 hours, so time to scrape! I finally finished it up around 2 (?). Whew. I'm glad that's done.
I got a call from the guy working on my car, and found out that I was gonna have to take it to Honda. Ugh. So, I called Honda to see about an appt...wouldn't ya know, they were able to get me in right away. I quickly got ready and went to pick up my mom. (Thanks SO MUCH to my mother for letting me borrow her car off and on throughout these repairs!!!)
She and I went to pick up my car and took it to Honda - dogs in tow. Oh, they do love to go for a ride in the car! We checked the ol' Honda in and headed out. We swung by another place to look at some more dishwashers.
Alright, that's enough for today - I went up to church this evening and made a new bulletin cover and we had trio practice for Sunday. That's it...I'm done for today. I have to call Honda tomorrow morning and tell them "GO" or "NO" on my car repair. Aghhh...what to do!?!
