December arrives!

Boy, who can believe December is already here...this means that we are sliding right into 2009 - yeowzah!
It so strange to be so "free" during what typically is a choatic month. I feel pretty well-rested and definitely have spare time - that just doesn't normally happen around the holidays, so I want to be sure to be grateful for that!

Spinning classes have started out pretty well, and I'm looking forward to keeping them going through December. We won't have class the week between Christmas and New Years, but I'm sure everyone will be back on the fitness wagon right after the first of the year!

Our church now has a new building! It's exciting! We officially took ownership today, but won't have our first service in the new building until the 1st Sunday in january - there is work to be done between now and then. I'm actually helping to update some literature, creating a more uniform look, and updating the contact information.

Oh yes, and over the weekend, I was able to get together with my friends, Carol and Chad! They were in town from Nebraska - it's alway enjoyable seeing them. It's especially exciting this time around, 'cause they are expecting a baby in April! We had a good time just chatting and catching up on what's happening with all of us.

Aside from these things, I'm just enjoying the down time and trying to get together with various friends for lunch, dinner...maybe even the spa!

And, I may also mention that two of my friends celebrated birthdays at the end of November - Peggy (in sunny, warm Houston!), and Kelly (long-time friend from childhood!) - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRLS!!!
