Today was fun...I went on a client event with Cammy (my external sales partner here in the KC area - pictured here in the brown tank). We did a trap shooting event. I don't believe I have ever been trap shooting, so it was interesting!
We went to a place in Lenexa, called Powder Creek. To learn more about trap shooting, click here.
My dad did all the instruction, etc. for the group, so that worked out well. The clients loved him and thought the event was really a good time. The weather was perfect - sunny and warm, though it got a tad hot.

After shooting, we went over to this covered picnic area and ate lunch. One of the clients smokes his own brisket, so he brought brisket and we had a little bbq. They were all asking my dad lots of questions about handgun classes and such. I hope he's able to get some more classes out of this deal.
I was gonna go ride my bike with Troy after the event, but as it turned out, both of us were running a bit short on time, so we had to scrap that whole idea. Bummer!
In stark contrast to shooting, I hurried home to shower and change for a Christmas Choir kick-off. No, people - it is not too early to start working on Christmas music! We listened to the songs we will be singing, and got to sing through all of them a time or two as well. It was good - Terry picked some really nice pieces.
