Hello?

Oh my...it sure has been a while since I was out here. No excuses...well, ok, I'll make some excuses - I've been busy! :-) These Olympics certainly aren't helping either. What little time I do have at home, I've been glued to the tv (thanks goodness for the DVR!), catching up on as many events as possible, until my little peepers just can't stay open any longer. It's been amazing to watch some of these games. And, I will say, it makes me realize how much I take for granted that I'm an American - how fortunate to be born in this country!

Work at Epic has also filled bits of my "spare" time. So far, it's been great working there, and though I have a TON to learn, I have already learned SO much!

Bill, Kim and I have started an accountability of sorts on nutrition/activity. More to come on that front, but it's been going well so far. I've been out on two rides with Bill - he's doing great. Though, he did take his first tumble on the ol' clipless pedals the other night. Yes, I laughed! In a strange way, I feel as though I've earned the right to laugh after all the times I've fallen!!! Hopefully that'll be the first in few falls for Bill. They recently added another kayak to the collection, so I hope to get up there and try my hand at kayaking soon. That'll be a nice variation to the swim, bike, run, eh?

We celebrated Bailey's birthday the day of the triathlon (Aug 9). Her b'day wasn't until the 13th, but it was an early celebration. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BAILEY!!!

My nephew, Michael, celebrated his birthday on Wednesday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL!!! I probably need to harass my sister for some new pics to post out here. Those boys are getting taller and taller. We were informed not too long ago that Michael has passed up g'ma on the height charts...I'm next, I suppose!

Work has been extremely busy lately - lots of client requests and events - really not much room to breathe. I guess I'm happy for the security of work, but I really wouldn't mind a teeny bit of air! :-)

I can't think of much else at the moment. It'll be another busy weekend I'm sure, but I'll try to catch you up on a few other things sometime soon. Thanks for reading!
