The Windy City - Day 2

Today we got up and took the kids to school and then Lonnie and I had the whole day to do whatever we wanted. Wahoo! We went out for breakfast, which was nice and yummy! I had a pumpkin pancake - not just that, but it was Mmmm, Mmmm good!
We shopped a bit and went to see a movie. It sure was nice just hanging out and catching up on things. I would love to live closer so we had this opportunity more often!
Friday night we all went out to dinner. All this crazy sickness that's been going around seems to have nabbed Eric, 'cause he wasn't feeling very well. I personally think he was pretending so he could medicate throughout my visit! ha ha (only kidding, Eric)
After dinner we went home and played Farkel. I talked about Farkel in a previous blog entry, but for those who don't recall, it's a dice game and it's fun! We actually played this quite a bit throughout the weekend and everyone enjoyed it.
Lonnie, Eric and I watched a movie after Liv and Josh went to bed. Two of us (who shall remain nameless) struggled to stay awake!
Day 2 in the Windy City (which by the way, is VERY cold and snow-covered) had come to a close. What a nice day!
