I was actually happy to get up at 4:40 this morning to head out to spin class! I am ready to spin, spin, spin some of this food away! ha ha
It was also a nice surprise to have so many participants come out on an early morning following Christmas day. We had a great workout. After which, I jumped in the pool for a bit. I was supposed to do a time trial effort, but I've hurt something in my right arm, and just couldn't do a whole lot. I still swam for about an hour, but just took it fairly easy.
So, as I mentioned at the start, Ryan (refer to some summer blog entries if you need a refresher on this character!) is in town for Christmas. My coworker, Chris, and I met Ryan
and Kat (his mom) for lunch on the Plaza. Kat (insert cat noise here) is just as pleasant as Ryan described and we all had a good time catching up. We ate at George Brett's, which is apparently changing ownership/names, so this was a historic final day! Wahoo.
