Another Snowy Day

Well, here we are at another weekend, and it's snowing again! As memory serves, this is a bit different from past Decembers in KC. We've had snow or ice for the past 3 or 4 weekends now. It's a little bit of a bummer for a gal who would really like to be outdoors riding/running, rather than running on the treadmill, or on the bike on a trainer in the basement.

Oh well, it's kinda pretty, I suppose. I had a trio practice at church this morning, and afterwards bugged Terry for a while. We ended up watching an old performance he did with his high school choir - it was pretty funny!!!

I did a little bit of Christmas shopping, and headed home. Terry, Kathy and I were invited to a surprise party for another friend of ours, Dave, at Ponak's tonight. The boys couldn't come, so I went over early and we all played a game of Farkel (very fun dice game, for those who aren't aware).

Then, we braved the snow, and headed to the par-tay. There was a good sized crowd that showed up. It was funny, 'cause we knew most of the people from our old church - none of us go there any longer.

Dave was very surprised, so that was fun. Here are a few pics we took before we headed out...Marcus was our photographer extraordinnaire!
