It seems that when work is hectic, I don't have enough time to think about all the other stuff in life, and it tends to get away from me a bit. This week has been just that way - juggling work, my training, getting ready to head out of town for the ride - it's just all been busy.
So, this morning, as I'm heading out the door to work, I notice that my rear driver's side tire is low...odd, since I just put air in it a couple nights ago. Hmmmm. I took it up to a jewel of a service station I discovered a few years back - it appears to be a hole in the wall, but the guys are super nice and helpful! Anyway, I drove over there and had them take a look. Not surprsingly, their examination revealed a nail (minus the nail head) stuck in the tire. Once that bad boy was pulled out, and the plug was inserted, I was back in action. Thanks to the fellas at the BP (formerly Amoco) station on N. Oak Trafficway!
Too bad I didn't whip out the camera and take some action shots of him fixing my tire, eh? I'm sure he would've found that pretty amusing.
