Nike + iPod

I've been thinking about testing the Nike + iPod deal where you put the sensor in your shoe and it tracks the details of your workout on your iPod Nano. Well, I picked up the kit and gave it a very brief test run today. Thanks to Ryan, ACI business man extraordinaire, (more on Ryan in a future post) I was sure to calibrate the system. So, I did a short run to get the system all set up, and I plan to give it another test run tomorrow and Tuesday.

It seems to be pretty cool. You can choose a workout based on distance, number of calories you want to burn, amount of time, etc. And, it logs your workouts and tracks your mileage and such. Should be fun!

Side note: I do not own the Nike+ ready shoe. I am currently running in Asics (which I LOVE), but the sensor worked just fine - at least so far - with this shoe. I'll keep you posted.
