Here's some information from the Epic Bike and Sport November Newsletter
SPIN!
Just because it’s cold, doesn’t mean that you have to stop riding! Starting next week, November 11th, we are going to begin having spin classes at the shop every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 PM. They will be five dollars a class and will be led by Dawn McPherson, a certified spin instructor. This is a great way to stay in shape over the winter. The classes will be limited to six people on a first come first serve basis. All you have to do is call the shop after 10:00am the day of the class and let us know that you are coming. As long as the class isn’t full, you’ll be all set, so call early!
One last thing on our classes; you will need to bring your own trainer and bike. We know that everyone doesn’t own a trainer, so we are offering 10% off of any trainer for class participants. If we don’t have the trainer you are looking for, we’d be more than happy to order it and have it ready for the next class.
Rides
Unfortunately because of daylight savings time, we are going to have to put our Monday night ride on hold until spring. Great news, however, on our Saturday morning ride. Terry Wilkes, a great local rider and all around bang-up guy, has agreed to start leading our Saturday morning ride. This is a ride that leaves from the shop on Saturdays at 8:30, as long as the temperature is above 40 degrees. It’s a moderate to fast paced ride with a varying route to keep things interesting. Come on out and join us!
