Change is good, right?

Well, if you live in the KC area, you heard about my firm laying off nearly 20% of the workforce this week. I was one of the 270 folks affected by the lay off. Ouch!

After 11 years of employment there, it was a little tough to stomach initially, but I do know that it is obviously part of God's plan for me right now.

I'm not sure what's next, but I do have time to sit back and breathe a bit while I figure it out.

More to come, I'm sure...look at it this way, maybe it'll create a little more excitement on my blog in the coming months! ha ha

Really sorry to hear this but in the grand scheme of things, I know it's a blessing in disguise. Maybe it's time to start training for another IM ;)

Sorry to hear. Look at it as the conclusion of one chapter in your life and the beginning of a new one. Who knows what new adventures lay ahead but I hope this next chapter is better than the last for you.

Well, you know I understand.

If you want to come get certified Lifeguard swim instructor etc with me I have some openings.

Julie and I have both been there. Dont do what we did though- WORKOUT. we sat around and did nothing. :)

Believe me, you'll get thru it.
