A little catch up...

Here are a few other things that have been going on that I've been too busy to write about:
September 2 - Happy Birthday Marcus!

If you've been keeping up with my blog, Marcus will look familiar from the family pics taken on Kathy's birthday. He's recently taken an interest in cycling (which makes his father pretty happy), so I gave him a Carolina Tarheels cycling jersey and some socks to match. As you see from the decor in his room, he's a pretty big Tarheels fan - and has been since he was a lil' guy!














September 5: My car turned over to 80,000 miles - bonus item is that it's paid off!
Yes, I'm a dork and grabbed a picture, but I missed the 80,000 mark and got it when it turned to 80,001. My mother kindly asked if I thought about stopping while fishing for my camera - well, I did think about it, but it wasn't really practical where I was. Bad enough that I was driving while searching for my camera, eh? At any rate, it's a bit of trivia!

September 6: Tucker had surgery on his eye to correct a condition where the lashes actually turn in and scratch the cornea. Poor fella...he looks like he got in a fight...
And he's healing up just fine, only a day or so later...
