For those of you who have been following my blog, Kathy is Terry's wife. Terry and Kathy have two sons, Marcus and Harrison, and we have all been friends for 13 years!!! Well technically, for Harrison, it hasn't been quite that long. :-)
I could go on and on about all the fun (and not-so-fun) times we've all shared, but suffice it to say, there have been hundreds or thousands of happy memories made!
It took somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 shots to get this picture (okay, maybe it was only around 20, but it felt like a hundred!). The guilty will remain nameless, but someone has a touch of photo-phobia and kept blinking. Alas, we were able to capture the happy family:

Anyway, we went out for dinner to celebrate, though I'm not sure you could really call it that, 'cause Kathy was ADAMANT that we were not to let it be known that it was her special, special day! So there was to be no wait-staff singing, free desserts, nothing...of course, we had to taunt a bit and pretend we were gonna let the cat out of the bag. Some didn't find us very funny! :-)
We went back to the house for the gift opening ceremony and dessert.

You'll see Marcus and I worked hard on the b'day brownies...well, actually, Marcus made them - his first brownie-making experience, all for his momma's birthday! Aawwww!
We had a fun time and, hopefully, Kathy had a fabulous birthday! (Marcus, you're up next!)
