Um, already so much to think about...

Well, I've started the quest for my ironman coach. It's really unbelievable the number of training plans, coaches, tips, articles, etc. that are available on the world wide web! What did we ever do without the internet? Still, with all that's available online, you never can be sure of what you're getting, right? So, in my opinion, you just can't beat word of mouth recommendations.
I think I have my search narrowed down, and am just waiting on some final answers to make my decision. This makes it even more official - I'm committed to this thing!

Thank goodness work has been fairly slow this week because I've actually been able to dig around for some information, and get myself somewhat organized. Finding a coach, deciding on travel, lodging, etc...yes, it seems early, but when you consider this isn't a huge town, yet the event draws an enormous crowd - it's not too early!

I ran across several race recaps today, from folks who competed in this year's Coeur d'Alene Ironman. I must say, this was exceptionally inspirational, cleverly written, and moving. I sure hope this fella doesn't mind me posting his recap. I looked for a way to contact him on the site, but couldn't find one...so if you have time, you should really read this!

Okay, well, I'm off to take my niece to see the new Nancy Drew movie...

(Bailey and Aunt Dawn decorating sugar cookies for Easter)

...maybe I'll write a movie review tomorrow. ha ha
